OKCPS teams in the 2017 Oklahoma basketball tournament

Seven Oklahoma City Public Schools basketball teams made it through the regional tournaments and competed in the state championship tournament. Here's a look at the OKCPS teams:

Classen School of Advanced Studies (4A girls)
  • Lost to Ada High School in the quarterfinals March 9.

Oklahoma Centennial High School (3A boys)
  • Quarterfinals: defeated Lincoln Christian on March 9.
  • Semifinals: lost to Douglass High School on March 10.

Star Spencer High School (3A boys)
  • Quarterfinals: defeated Metro Christian High School on March 9.
  • Semifinals: defeated Sequoyah (Tahlequah) High School on March 10.
  • Finals: lost to Douglass High School on March 11.

Douglass High School (3A boys)
  • Quarterfinals: defeated Okmulgee High School on March 9.
  • Semifinals: defeated Centennial High School on March 10.
  • Finals: defeated Star Spencer High School on March 11 to win the state championship!

John Marshall Mid-High School (4A boys)
  • Lost to Heritage Hall High School on March 2.

Northwest Classen High School (5A boys)
  • Lost to Carl Albert High School in the quarterfinals March 9.

Southeast High School (5A boys)
  • Lost to Ardmore High School on March 3.
